Zielona herbata chai - Pukka

 

Pukka: "Już po jednym łyku wiemy: marzenia naprawdę się spełniają". Oto ona, spełnienie marzeń - herbata doskonała: zielona, organiczna, Fairtrade, pyszna, słodkawa, ale z intrygującym posmakiem, pięknie opakowana. A do tego otrzymałam ją w prezencie, więc nie "zabolało" mnie wydanie około 5 euro.

 

Zielona herbata jest w smaku - choć bynajmniej nie w działaniu - delikatniejsza niż czarna, dlatego dodane przyprawy wsuwają się na pierwszy plan. A mamy ich tu iście gwiazdorską obsadę: cynamon, imbir, anyż gwiaździsty, kardamon i lukrecja. Dzięki lukrecji i anyżowi herbata jest na tyle słodka, że nie wymaga innych dodatków. Co mnie najbardziej w niej urzekło to dodatek odpowiedniej ilości imbiru - po każdym łyku czuje się wyraźnie pieprzowy posmak tego korzenia - taki naturalny "prąd".

 

Ciemno zielone opakowanie ozdobione geometrycznym, lecz jednocześnie organicznym czarnym wzorem cieszy wzrok, a to, że produkt jest zarówno organiczny i Fairtrade to prawdziwe ukoronowanie wspaniałej herbaty. Polecam gorąco i na pewno skuszę się na inne herbaty brytyjskiej firmy Pukka.

Green chai - Pukka

 

Pukka: "In just one sip you realise: wishes can come true." And here it is, a dream come true - perfect tea: green, organic, Fairtrade, delicious, sweet, but with an intruiguing aftertaste, beutifully packed. And I got it as a gift, so the 5 euro didn't hurt my wallet.

 

Green tea is in the taste - though not in its effects - more delicate than black tea, and so the blend of added spices comes to the foreground. And what a star blend it is indeed: cinnamon, ginger, star anis, cardamom and licorice.  Thanks to licorice and anis the tea is sweet enough to do without any additional sweteners. What I like most about it is the exactly right amount of ginger - after each sip you can taste its distinct peppery taste - such a natural "kick".

 

The dark-green package with geometrical, yet organic pattern is a trully delightful sight, and the fact that the tea is both organic and Fairtrade is the real cherry on top. Hotly recommended - I will surely give in to the temptation of trying other teas of British Pukka.
